Contest to Benefit Online Casinos Charity of Choice

Online casino, English Harbour, issued a press release announcing a contest that includes helping a good cause.  Although details regarding the structure of the contest were not revealed, what is known is that members of the online casino will have a chance to compete for eight roundtrip tickets to attend the Hillary and Hailey Duff Halloween Fundraiser in downtown Los Angeles this Halloween eve.

The fundraiser seeks to support and maintain a twenty-four hour suicide prevention hotline called the Trevor Project.  Hosted at St. Vibiana's Cathedral - which is fittingly haunted - a large turnout of celebrities is expected to attend in support of the worthy charity.  Included on the guest list already are Jessica and Ashley Simpson, the Duff sisters, Paris Hilton and the casts from O.C and That 70's Show.

English Harbour, which is one of many online casinos in support of a variety of charitable causes, believes that the Trevor Project is a very important resource for troubled teens, and that what better way to help support it than by awarding their devoted players.  Doing their part, English Harbour pledges to donate a match of all the online winnings the eight lucky contest winners have amassed from the casinos contest.

Although players have to be a member of English Harbour Casino to enter the contest, it is nice to see that online casinos are doing more to reach out to the community and give back in a large number of ways.
